Silicon Graphics International
SGI

July 14, 2009

Silicon Graphics International, or SGI, which is the new combination formed when Rackable Systems bought the old SGI, announced changes for its fiscal calendar.

"SGI's current fiscal year, which began on January 4, 2009, will end on June 26, 2009. SGI will file a transition report for the period from January 4, 2009 to June 26, 2009 on a Form 10-Q. The company's first quarter of fiscal year 2010 will end on September 25, 2009. SGI will report Q1 2010 earnings for this period to comply with this change in year-end." Before the change the quarter ending June 26, 2009 was the second quarter of 2009, so the September 2009 quarter would have been the 3rd quarter of fiscal 2009 under the old system.
